SUMMARY

The specific epithet rhusiopathiae in the scientific name of the organism known as Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae (Migula) Buchanan is conserved against the specific epithet insidiosa (basionym: Bacillus insidiosus Trevisan) and against all other specific epithets applied to this organism.
