Abstract

A new species of the genus is described, for which the name is proposed. In addition to finger-shaped sporangia, this organism produced abundant globose bodies and coremia. It differs significantly from previously described species of the genus in its cultural and physiological characteristics. The type strain of is SF-2113 (IFO 14381).
