Abstract

We describe sp. nov., which is found in human feces and vaginal discharge. This new species was established on the basis of the results of DNA-DNA hybridization among anaerobic cocci. The results of differential biochemical reactions also are given. The type strain of this species is strain GIFU 7662 (= JCM 7635).
