Abstract

The levels of genotypic relatedness among (53 strains), subsp. (7 strains), subsp. (5 strains), (3 strains), (3 strains), sp. (3 strains), and (1 strain) were determined. is genotypically homogeneous and forms a distinct species. sp. strains ATCC 21435, ATCC 21436, and ATCC 21437 are genotypically not closely related to any sp. and are regarded as genotypically heterogeneous collections of strains. ATCC 12697 and NCDO 530 should be reclassified as and , respectively.
