Investigation of fatty acid patterns, substrate utilization, and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization–time-of-flight (MALDI–TOF) profiles displayed no striking differences between the type strains of both species. DNA–DNA hybridization between both strains showed a 95 % (reciprocal 82 %) similarity, which clearly demonstrated that both strains are members of the same species. Due to priority of publication and validation of the name, Qingshengfania soli is reclassified as Pseudochelatococcus lubricantis , based on the estimated phylogenetic position derived from 16S rRNA gene sequence data, fatty acid, biochemical data, MALDI-TOF, and DNA–DNA hybridization results.", }
